Question for those that have moved out of California but stayed in the U.S. after removal from registry.
What state did you choose and why. Was it an economic decision (cheaper)?, A Financial decision(employment opportunities)?, A family decision(closer to relatives)?. And what, if any, registry obstacles did you encounter in your new location as a former CA registrant. Are you happy with your decision(s)?
thx,
A 20 year old Tx woman has been arrested for inappropriately touching a 14 yr old boy, cuddling in bed, and performing a sex act. Another example of someone not on the registry committing a sex offense and another case of the registry not preventing or solving a crime. Another story for my nail in the registry coffin folder.
According to the rumor mill in DC, President Trump is closer to pardoning Epstein’s girlfriend. Americans believe that PFR are the worst, however Maxwell and Epstein did far worse than the majority of registrants. The truly worst of the worst may get a pass, while we suffer at the hands of those who claim to be against sex crimes, yet are run away like cowards.
A LA county man, a PFR and on parole, was arrested for sniffing a woman’s butt at Walmart. He has similar acts on his record going back to 2021. Prison, parole, and the registry didn’t prevent him from committing another crime. Another failure of the prison and parole systems and another example of the registry not preventing or solving a crime. He was identified after the crime was committed. Hopefully he won’t be used to enacting harsher laws on California PFR.
Upon personal research, the number of people in 2025 so far who are in professional positions of trust who have been either accused or convicted of sex crimes of those in their charge is astounding and sad since the registry did nothing to help diminish those facts. You can look for yourself on the two main professional folks discussed in the forum when it comes to those acts which draw headlines and wonder why the public example set by nearly one million people has not stemmed that tide.
Maybe this was already discussed, but there was a case in OR where a PFR called out the Parole Board for ignoring the 5 -year halving of Static 99R points, if one remains crime-free. And he won. For those of us in CA and in Tier 3 for life, could this case persuade a judge to force the CA legislature to revise our score every five years? And reduce our tier placement?
From the So happy vs Oregon case;
The Court observed that the Static-99R “predicts a person’s risk of sexual recidivism at a specific point in time—the date of their release from prison or date of conviction if they were not incarcerated.” Therefore, “[a]s long as the index offense remains the same, a person’s Static-99R score will be the same whether it is calculated on their release date or, for example, 12, 20, or 50 years later.” Yet while the Static-99R score remains the same, the risk of recidivism for a sex crime declines for people who remain in the community sex-offense-free, according to the Static-99R’s accompanying rules. Specifically, “for every five years the person is in the community without a new sex offense, their risk for recidivism roughly halves.”
Turning to ORS 163A.100, the Court said the law requires the Board to classify people “based on their risk of reoffending at the time of the assessment”—which, in Sohappy’s case, was in 2020, not between 2008 and 2010. The Board argued it had discretion to ignore the time people spend in the community without committing new sex crimes when conducting Static-99R assessments. But the Court disagreed, writing that such time “must be considered to achieve a statistically valid result.” That finding was dictated by OAR 255-085-0020(1), which requires the Board to use Static-99R’s “attending rules and research.”
This was just reported on Bay Area local news. Indian pilot working for Delta was taken into custody at SFO for 5 counts PC287(c)1. victim was 10 yrs old. THIS is what the registry was originally intended for, not all the expanded cr*p we are all dealing with now. If politicians and the DOJ would address the legitimate offenses and stop the stings, internet searches and butt pinchers, maybe it would be a bit more justified. Not acceptable, but more easily defended. likely have it down to around 5000 persons vs 900,000.
From Nebraskans Unafraid
A registrant is hospitalized and gravely ill in ICU. The person is immobilized in bed, attached to all manners of medical devices. Friends and family asked Nebraska officials if there was another way he could register and they were told, he has to register in person. Talk about cruel punishment in a state with the motto: Good Life.
“Law Enforcement must follow state law” – quote of the day from a judge in a case in NV where the judge ruled against law enforcement in a civil asset forfeiture case.
We now need judges to rule the state and federal government both need to follow state and federal constitutions in regards to registry related laws.
Not sure why, but lately I seem to run across in the news more and more crimes by pastors, mostly child porn and one even had a Crypto for Christ fraud scam. I am not saying there are more crimes now vs the past by pastors, I just seem to be more aware. Maybe more and more people are fed up with the hypocrisy and are making known what is going in their communities?
The Age-Gated Internet Is Here (Reason.com 28 July 2025)
Goodbye, online anonymity.
I am leaving in 20 minutes for my final annual. 10 yrs without so much as a jaywalking citation. before all this a total of 3 speeding tickets. obviously a habitual criminal. My petition has been filed for over 90 days now and still no court date. this will be my last time filing. I have done my required responsibilities. they deny my petition , then fine. still my last time. they change the laws and require my to register, then fine. still my last time. they try to arrest me for not following, then fine. their last time. I’m tired of all this crap over a 12 pics that 200 million other people have the same access to. I’ll go out free if that’s what it comes to.
A thought,
there are many offenses that fall within a category called ‘1st time offenses’, which allows for probation along with counseling. Once done the record is sealed to public and the person goes on with their life. It accounts for one time stupid mistakes. Since states normally require this counseling for Sex offenses, why aren’t misdemeanor sex offenses treated this way. 🤔
Police officers found by the DOJ to be committing sex crimes while on duty. Skip to 10 minutes into the video.

Just got kicked off the reddit support site for the second time. Reason being, I got accused of minimizing my offense by comparing the severity of my punishment to worse things like murder & carjacking. Don’t you just love those people? 🤗 They hate hearing people say that they didn’t create the victim by viewing the material. I can’t stand those vic rights people with a passion
It appears to me the hundreds of sex trafficked victims related to Epstein will never see justice. I was punished for attempting one offense against one fictitious person and served more punishment than Epstein. Maybe if I were rich and had powerful connections my outcome would have been different.
DOJ has not investigated any criminal leads relating to Epstein even though there exists at least 174 possible criminals listed in the evidence in regards to the Ms. Maxwell’s case. One Senator on the Senate Finance Committee has been on public record asking for the more than 4,000 money transfers into Epstein’s accounts be investigated as to who sent and why sent. The GOP lead committee refused to take any action which would lead to an investigation.
In part of a video deposition I viewed Epstein pled the 5th when asked whether he socialized with under the age of 18 females in the presence of Trump, even though Epstein answered other questions in the video deposition. Mainstream media reports that this spring the “FBI was pressured to put approximately 1,000 personnel in its Information Management Division … on 24-hour shifts to review approximately 100,000 Epstein-related records…My office was told that these personnel were instructed to ‘flag’ any records in which President Trump was mentioned”. Trump within the last few days admitted on tv that Epstein hired some underage females working at Mar-a-Lago.
In my opinion, Ms. Maxwell will say and do whatever told by the president so she can obtain either a reduced sentence or pardon, and if she does testify in front of congress, I believe she will invoke her 5th amendment rights. So I believe the president nor anyone else will never be investigated for sex trafficking crimes or statutory rape and no definitive proof will come to light on anyone.
Emil Bove has now been confirmed to be on the 3rd circuit with a lifetime appointment with numerous whistle blowers about misconduct. Feel like I’m living in the Little Shop of Horrors with the government as Audrey and our rights being blood.
Oklahoma’s superintendent had naked women on his TV while on a video call regarding sexuality in books. Talk about having your hand in the cookie jar, while having the other in your pants. ” Don’t mind the tv it was hacked by the Dems to make me look bad.”
Rep. Nancy Mace has entered the South Carolina race for governor. Oh boy I bet it would be pure hell for registrants if she were elected.
